By using our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a service, purchasing a plan, paying an invoice, accepting a quotation, allowing site access, or using any Solaroft service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
About Solaroft
Solaroft provides solar-related services and products, including but not limited to:
- Solar panel cleaning
- Preventive maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
- AMC plans
- Site inspections
- Safety checks
- Fault diagnosis
- Electrical and performance inspection
- Product supply, where applicable
- Service reports
- Residential, commercial, and institutional solar support
- Add-on services offered from time to time
The exact scope of service is determined by the selected plan, quotation, invoice, service order, AMC document, or written communication from Solaroft.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under Indian law.
By booking a service, you confirm that:
- You are the owner, occupier, tenant, authorized representative, facility manager, society representative, or legally authorized person for the service location.
- You have the right to allow Solaroft personnel to access the site.
- The information provided by you is true, complete, and accurate.
- You will not misuse our website, pricing, offers, policies, team, or services.
Service Scope
Solaroft will provide only the services specifically selected, purchased, quoted, invoiced, or agreed in writing.
Unless expressly included in writing, services do not include:
- Replacement of major components
- Warranty guarantee of third-party products
- Civil work
- Waterproofing
- Structural repairs
- Roof repair
- Inverter replacement
- Battery replacement
- Earthing rework
- Complete rewiring
- Net meter replacement
- DISCOM approvals
- Government subsidy work
- OEM warranty approval
- Insurance claim approval
- Generation guarantee
- Work at unsafe or inaccessible heights
- Work requiring specialized machinery unless quoted separately
Any additional work will be charged separately.
Pricing
Prices displayed on solaroft.com are indicative and may vary based on:
- Solar system size
- Location
- Site accessibility
- Roof type
- Safety risk
- Water availability
- Number of visits
- Commercial or residential category
- Distance from service zone
- Actual condition of panels, wiring, inverter, mounting structure, or site
- Special tools, machinery, consumables, or manpower required
- Taxes and government levies
Final pricing will be based on the applicable quotation, invoice, selected plan, or confirmed booking.
Solaroft reserves the right to correct pricing errors, technical mistakes, typographical errors, outdated offers, or incorrect service descriptions before accepting or fulfilling an order.
Taxes
All prices are subject to applicable GST, taxes, duties, cesses, charges, and government levies unless expressly stated otherwise.
GST invoice will be issued where applicable and subject to correct customer details being provided.
Booking and Confirmation
A service booking is confirmed only after:
- Customer provides required details;
- Solaroft verifies feasibility, where needed;
- Payment, advance, or confirmation is received as required;
- Slot is assigned by Solaroft; and
- Booking is accepted by Solaroft.
Submitting a form or enquiry does not guarantee service availability.
Site Access and Customer Obligations
The customer must ensure:
- Safe access to the solar system
- Availability of authorized person at site
- Availability of water and power, if required
- Safe ladder, terrace, rooftop, or access path where applicable
- No obstruction, locked access, pets, disputes, security restrictions, or unsafe conditions
- Prior disclosure of fragile roofs, asbestos sheets, skylights, weak structures, electrical hazards, high-tension wires, water leakage, fire risk, or any other danger
- Required permissions from society, landlord, RWA, facility team, security, or management
- Shutdown permission if needed
- Presence of responsible person during service where required
If the site is unsafe, inaccessible, misrepresented, locked, or materially different from the information provided, Solaroft may cancel, reschedule, refuse, or charge additional fees.
Safety First Policy
Solar systems involve electrical, height, rooftop, glass, water, inverter, DC current, AC current, and fire-related risks.
Solaroft follows a safety-first approach. We reserve the right to refuse, stop, suspend, or reschedule work if:
- The roof is unsafe
- The structure is fragile
- Weather conditions are dangerous
- Electrical conditions are unsafe
- Access is risky
- Customer or third party interferes with work
- Required shutdown is not provided
- Site conditions may endanger people, equipment, property, or technicians
Customer cannot force Solaroft personnel to perform unsafe work.
Weather, Force Majeure, and Operational Delays
Service may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to:
- Rain
- Storm
- High winds
- Extreme heat
- Lightning
- Water unavailability
- Power unavailability
- Unsafe roof conditions
- Traffic
- Vehicle breakdown
- Technician illness
- Strike
- Government restriction
- Natural disaster
- Public disturbance
- Pandemic or epidemic
- Force majeure event
- Any condition beyond Solaroft's reasonable control
Solaroft will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected services.
Service Reports and Photographic Evidence
Solaroft may create service reports, job cards, photographs, videos, checklists, technician notes, or digital records.
These may be used for:
- Proof of service
- Quality control
- Customer communication
- Warranty handling
- Safety review
- Dispute resolution
- Internal training
- Fraud prevention
- Legal compliance
Customers must raise any objection to service quality within the timelines mentioned in the Refund Policy or invoice terms.
No Generation Guarantee
Solar power generation depends on several factors outside Solaroft's control, including:
- Weather
- Dust
- Shadow
- Panel age
- Panel quality
- Inverter efficiency
- DC/AC wiring
- Grid availability
- DISCOM conditions
- Net meter issues
- Module degradation
- Temperature
- Design flaws
- Past installation quality
- Bird droppings
- Nearby construction
- Customer usage pattern
- Third-party defects
Unless expressly provided in a written performance contract signed by Solaroft, we do not guarantee any specific generation increase, savings amount, ROI, electricity bill reduction, payback period, or performance output.
Product Warranty
For products supplied by Solaroft, warranty terms are governed by the manufacturer, OEM, distributor, or product-specific warranty document.
Solaroft does not provide additional warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
Warranty may be void in cases of:
- Misuse
- Unauthorized repair
- Physical damage
- Improper installation by third party
- Water damage
- Electrical surge
- Lightning
- Fire
- Rodent damage
- Tampering
- Modification
- Negligence
- Force majeure
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
Service Warranty
Service warranty, if any, applies only to the specific service performed and only for the duration expressly mentioned in the invoice, plan, AMC, or written confirmation.
Service warranty does not cover:
- Pre-existing defects
- Third-party installation issues
- Product failure
- Inverter failure
- Module failure
- Grid failure
- DISCOM problems
- Structural defects
- Roof leakage
- Customer interference
- Unauthorized repairs
- Natural dust accumulation after service
- Bird droppings after service
- Weather-related soiling
- New damage after service
- Issues not included in service scope
AMC and Subscription Plans
AMC or maintenance plans are governed by the selected plan terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- AMC is valid only for the registered site and system capacity.
- AMC cannot be transferred without Solaroft's written approval.
- Missed visits due to customer unavailability may be considered consumed if adequate notice is not given.
- Additional visits beyond plan limits are chargeable.
- Emergency visits may be chargeable.
- Repairs, spare parts, consumables, replacement items, special equipment, and major faults may be charged separately.
- Plan upgrade, downgrade, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will follow Solaroft's applicable policy.
Customer Misconduct
Solaroft may refuse or stop service if customer, staff, security, society member, tenant, vendor, or third party:
- Abuses, threatens, harasses, or obstructs Solaroft personnel
- Demands unsafe work
- Refuses to pay agreed charges
- Provides false information
- Makes false allegations
- Attempts fraud or chargeback abuse
- Misuses refund policy
- Prevents documentation or proof of work
- Damages Solaroft equipment
- Violates safety instructions
- Attempts to poach or privately hire Solaroft technicians
In such cases, fees may be forfeited, service may be cancelled, and Solaroft may take legal action.
Prohibition on Direct Technician Deals
Customers shall not directly hire, pay, contract, poach, or negotiate with Solaroft technicians, employees, vendors, or representatives outside Solaroft's official booking and billing system.
Any such dealing is unauthorized. Solaroft is not responsible for loss, damage, theft, injury, defect, fraud, or poor service resulting from unauthorized private dealings.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be as stated on the quotation, invoice, website, plan, or booking confirmation.
Solaroft may require:
- Full advance payment
- Partial advance payment
- Site visit fee
- Inspection fee
- AMC payment
- Subscription payment
- Balance payment before or after service, depending on plan
Late payments may attract service suspension, cancellation, recovery costs, interest, or legal action.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by the Refund Policy and booking terms.
Repeated rescheduling, last-minute cancellation, site unavailability, locked premises, missing permissions, or unsafe access may result in visit charges, cancellation fees, or forfeiture of advance.
Intellectual Property
All content on solaroft.com, including text, logo, design, graphics, pricing structure, service names, plan names, images, videos, reports, checklists, processes, brochures, software, forms, and branding belongs to Solaroft or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, imitate, reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.
Website Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Hack, damage, overload, or interfere with the website
- Use bots, scraping, or automated tools
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Submit false enquiries
- Misrepresent identity
- Copy pricing, content, or forms for unfair competition
- Abuse offers, discounts, referral programs, or refunds

No Misleading Guarantee
Any claim such as "better performance", "improved output", "reduced dust loss", "safer system", or "maintenance benefit" is subject to actual site condition and should not be interpreted as a fixed financial, generation, savings, or performance guarantee unless specifically confirmed in a signed written contract.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solaroft's liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific disputed service or product.
Solaroft shall not be liable for:
- Indirect loss
- Loss of profit
- Loss of business
- Loss of generation
- Loss of savings
- Loss due to grid failure
- Loss due to inverter or panel defect
- Third-party product failure
- Pre-existing defects
- Structural damage not caused by Solaroft
- Roof leakage not directly caused by Solaroft
- Customer negligence
- Unauthorized repair
- Force majeure
- Consequential damages
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solaroft, its owners, directors, employees, technicians, contractors, vendors, and partners from claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs, and expenses arising from:
- False information provided by you
- Unauthorized booking
- Unsafe site conditions not disclosed
- Breach of these Terms
- Misuse of service
- Non-payment
- Violation of law
- Third-party claims caused by your actions
- Damage caused by customer, tenant, security, society, contractor, or third party at site
